Once you pick your hero you will be shown three cards to pick from. Your hero will unlock new cards at every other level they reach until the hit level 10.īuild a deck and see how long you last. As you play each hero they will receive experience (XP). Here you will use your decks to battle other players at the same level as you. This is also a good place to try out custom decks you have created before being embarrassed by another player. After you defeat the opposing hero you will unlock their deck for use in the game. Use your mage deck and select one of the heroes. This mode lets you compete against AI controlled heroes. Once you complete the tutorial you will have access to three new modes. It's pretty simple and veterans of other card games should cruise right through it. Each section introduces a new mechanic of game play. The tutorial is broken into six sections. When you first start Hearthstone you need to go through the tutorial before you can begin playing others. Each hero begins the game with 30 life and the game is over once a hero reaches zero.
